Mountain Funeral (2013, USA/Iceland)

Experimental documentary short, 6 mins, HD Video, color, sound
Synopsis: This film combines music inspired by the Appalachian region of the United States with imagery shot in northern Iceland. The contrast between the sound and image content give way slowly, as the fog of the mountains fuses with the simple, yet mesmerizing story of life, death and spirits that transcend them both.
Selected Screenings: Fargo Film Festival (Fargo, ND), Rural Route Film Festival (NY, NY), Union Docs (Brooklyn, NY), Altered Aesthetics (Minneapolis, MN), Portobello Film Festival (London, UK), Free Range Film Festival (Wrenshall, MN), Dutch Mountain Film Festival (Heerlen, Netherlands), NutureArt (Brooklyn, NY)
