Sky Grid

Information: This ongoing project comprises photographs of skies mailed, emailed or shared with me via social media from fellow artists.  I am interested in using the networked aspect of social media, melding the virtual with the physical to create an ever changing photo object in the spirit of Mail Art, Fluxus and Dada art movements.  Photographs of skies typically elude a particular, individual vantage point yet each photograph is personalized by indicating the place where the photograph was taken.  In this way, the content and form of the piece conflates ideas of space, boarders, the individual and collaboration.
